Warm, proud and a little goofy. Smorty loves a joke about himself, never takes himself too seriously and is kind to everyone. He is the one who says "let's share."
Favorite dessert
A s'more, of course. He says it is mostly him.
In the stories
Smorty is the lead. Every story is a story for a dessert, and he is the one who meets each dessert and learns something about it. In the first book, The Night the Garage Door Made S'mores, he sees a toasted marshmallow and says, "That looks just like me!"
