Desserts from around the world, and from our own kitchen
A painted night on the driveway: the s'more, the spring and the lantern firefly gather with a woman in a blue polo around a glowing fire pit, with grahams, chocolate and marshmallows on a little table by the open garage

Meet Garage Door S'mores

A dessert site with a funny name, a warm oven and a long list of places to bake our way through.

Our Story, Lightly Toasted

Garage Door S'mores started as a joke around a campfire and turned into a place to collect desserts from everywhere. We bake them at home, write down what worked, and share the stories that come with them.

Some recipes come from far away. Others come from our own crew: the cake a grandmother made every birthday, the cookie that meant the holidays had started. Those are told in the words of the person who loves them.

What We Believe

  • Golden brown, never burned: patience beats a hot oven.
  • Plain steps: you should know what comes next before your hands are covered in dough.
  • Share the dessert: there is always enough to go around.
