Gentle, curious and a little shy. Her glow gets brighter when she is happy or curious, and dimmer when she is nervous. She asks the questions a child would ask.

Anything with chocolate.
In the stories
The firefly is the question-asker and the light. In the first book she smells chocolate, asks about it, and whispers "It IS chocolate!" when the bag of treats arrives. She sometimes worries she is too small to help, and the stories always show her that a small light is exactly what the dark needed.
